Our Response to CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19
We are committed to the healthy and safety of our customers. As a result we will be implementing the following safety precautions.
Our company is run by just myself and my husband. Any order from our website is picked, packed, and then delivered to the post office to be shipped by only us. We are practicing social distancing, washing hands regularly, trying to avoid touching our faces, and checking the CDC website daily for updated recommendations. We have also implemented the following procedures regarding any order placed on our website.
- Cleaning and disinfecting our fulfillment and shipping area everyday
- Washing our hands thoroughly before handling any product
- If either myself or my husband becomes sick, we will refrain from handling and shipping any orders. We have a backup fulfillment method which would not require us to handle any orders and would implement that as quickly as possible
- We will update our website to reflect any changes
Shipping Information
Orders received Monday through Friday will be processed by the next business day. Orders received on weekends and holidays will be processed the next business day. We use USPS as our shipping company.
Backordered Items
Any backordered item will ship as soon as it arrives in our warehouse. If you place an order that contains both in-stock and backordered items we will ship you the in-stock item(s) first and then the backordered item(s) when we have them. If an item is on backorder, this will be indicated in red on the product page of our website. If you do not see this, then the item is in stock.

USPS shipping times are generally 2 - 5 business days.
Tracking an Order
You will receive an order confirmation from blockislandorganics.com via email which will include the USPS tracking number once your order has been processed.
Returns/Exchanges
Returns for a refund and/or exchanges are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Returned products must contain at least 75% of the original contents and must be received by Block Island Organics within 30 days of the purchase date. All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Shipping and handling charges for returning items shipped are borne by the buyer.
