Formulated for the face but also great for the body, our SPF moisturizing lotion will protect your skin year-round from the daily commute, to running errands, to working out, and everywhere in between.
We find its best to apply in multiple small dollops instead of one large glob. This provides an even and smooth application. Just make sure to use enough - about a shot glass full for the entire body and face.
Is this Moisturizer a Sunscreen or Sunblock?
All-mineral SPF products like ours used to be known as sunblock but these days that’s no longer the case. Instead, everything is considered a sunscreen whether it uses chemical sunscreen filters, mineral / physical sunscreen filters, or both. So our SPF moisturizer is a sunscreen.
But don’t fret; our SPF moisturizer still only uses physical sunscreen ingredients. No chemical sunscreens here.
Uses: Helps prevent sunburn. If used as directed with other sun protection measures (see Directions), decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.
Directions: Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Reapply at least every two-hours. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor
Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10am to 2pm. Wear long sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses.
