EWG’s Mission of Health

We get energized every year when we make the EWG’s Guide to Sunscreen – that’s because we are aligned with the EWG’s mission to “empower people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment.”

There is no politics in their mission as they are a non-partisan and non-profit organization and the goal of their sunscreen guide is to help educate consumers so they can make healthier consumer choices. A healthier lifestyle, skin and world are things we definitely believe in as well.

This is the EWG’s 13th year of releasing a guide to sunscreens. According to the EWG their guide’s purpose has “exposed how many sunscreen products sold in the U.S. fall short of effectively and safely protecting people, and has advised consumers on safer and more effective choices.”
