It seems that golfers have a tendency to forget the sunscreen and get crazy tan lines. We’ve covered this before - check out golf pro Stewart Cink’s crazy bald headed tan line here. This time around it was golfer Ben Crane and his legs got a little extra heat.

After the PGA announced new rules allowing players to wear shorts during practice rounds and pro-ams – golfer Ben Crane decided to partake in the new ruling. But he forgot his sunscreen and ended his day with some weird tan lines and sunburn.

Here’s the before and after photos – can you say ouch!

I actually didn’t know pro golfers couldn’t wear shorts in the first place – seems like it would help them beat the heat. Now, whether you’re a pro, amateur, or casual golfer we have more great sun protection tips in our post “9 Sun Protection Tips for Golfers + Why It's a Must”.

So next time you hit the links or want to try out some new shorts in the sun – make sure to apply that sunblock. Your legs will thank you later.
