EWG Names Block Island Organics A Top Sunscreen & SPF Moisturizer for the Third Year in A Row

It's 2017 and the Environmental Working Group (EWG) has once again picked our two suncare products as a Best Beach & Sport Sunscreen and Best Moisturizer with SPF in their annual Guide to Sunscreens.

• Our Natural Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 was named a Best Beach & Sport Sunscreen for a third year in a row
• Our Natural Face Moisturizer SPF 30 was named a Best Face Moisturizer with SPF for a second year in a row (our moisturizer was launched a year behind our sunscreen)

We are honored to be on the EWG’s 2017 best lists especially since three-fourths of the 1,500 sunscreen products they evaluated rate poorly for skin protection or had ingredients that could cause adverse health effects or heighten sensitivity to the sun.
