EWG Names Block Island Organics a 2016 Best Sunscreen and Moisturizer with SPF

For the third year in a row we made the Environmental Working Group's (EWG) best sunscreen list:

• Our Natural Mineral Sunscreen SPF30 was named a Best Beach & Sport Sunscreen
• Our Natural Face Moisturizer SPF30 was named a Best Moisturizer with SPF

Why Being an EWG Best is Significant

Well it means you can definitely trust our sunblock products! The EWG evaluated over 750 sunscreens and 75% of the products did not make the EWG best lists because they provided inferior sun protection or contained worrisome ingredients.

According to Sonya Lunder an EWG senior analyst:

"Most of the products sold in the U.S. aren't as good as they should be and don't offer enough protection against ultraviolet"
