Hawaii’s sunscreen ban officially took effect at the start of 2021. It’s not a ban on all sunscreens (that would be dangerous to our skin!) but it is a ban on certain chemical sunscreens. Ok, so we’re a little biased because we do run a sunscreen company after all but a number of studies looked into these homemade sunscreen recipes and found they are not safe to use. Why?
