The results are in! In a recent survey 100% of dermatologists agreed that sunblock prevents skin aging, 97% said sunscreen protects against skin cancer and 100% recommended using at least an SPF 30 sunscreen. So I have to say, it’s great to see dermatologists agreeing on the importance of sun protection.

As a suncare company we love reading new research. One of the most interesting studies we've seen recently concluded that using an SPF 15 or greater sunscreen has the potential to reduce melanoma by 18% according to the Journal of Clinical Oncology. For something so easy to do, just slap on sunblock as part of your daily routine, we think that's pretty great.

About a month ago we shared a story about a skin cancer public service announcement (PSA) that the cast of The Big Bang Theory did for a young fan that passed from the disease. You can find the inspiring story here. The PSA was shot in support of the Claire Marie Foundation, the namesake organization started by the mother of the young fan to honor her death and raise awareness of adolescent skin cancer. About a week ago the Claire Marie Foundation teamed up with actress and model Molly Sims for another outstanding PSA.
