Due the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) recent recommendation, many of us are wearing face masks when we step outside to help curb the spread of Coronavirus/Covid-19. Something super important but that our skin might not be used to. So how do we keep it looking great and avoid irritation? Thankfully there are a few small steps we can all take. Hawaii legislators recently introduced bills to ban the sale of ALL chemical sunscreens in the state. These bills expand upon a bill Hawaii’s legislature passed in 2018 that bans the sale of chemical sunscreens containing oxybenzone and octinoxate (without a prescription issued by a licensed healthcare provider).
